Assets: Door #1

Here is the current process of the door.


Here is the first milestone for the door, the acute angle is where the door opens from, the top moves up and the bottom moves diagnally into the ground. There are 2 planes which will have the door number and a person message from the home-owners. the window is the shape it is as it is more smooth and sci-fi by it being a unique shape.


 
Here you can see 2 main differnces, the bottom half of the door has gone lower, this is because the falls are going to have the same slant and with it being so high would be unpracticle. also bars have been put on, although the more into the furture we go we get more 'digital' physical objects will still be in place e.g. this door, it has a 'manual' open for when there is a problem with the door with the doors opening feature. There was also a large area under the top door so that has just been extruded in to make it less 'plain'.



Here there are2 2 differences again. There is a 'indent' where the bar will go when moving down and also the bottom door had 2 more planes, these will have a warning message because of it being a door going into the ground with a arrow showing the direction which will be textured with a caution yellow and black lines.


 
This about is the show that the bar is animated to go into the grove using 2 different keyframes to show the movement, there has also been a 'bracket' around the poles movement so it looks more realistic.


As you can see on this image there is 'teeth' on the bottom of the door, this is for when it opens it look more realistic and show that it dosnt just 'sit' on the bottom and that it actually locks.
